YOU WILL ONLY NEED 2 THINGS:

1. A SQUARE SHEET OF PAPER.

NOTE: If you use paper that is 200 gsm and thicker, you’ll find that this will be a bit harder to work with because we will be creasing and folding paper and assembling each unit into a star shape. The finished Holiday Star will be around 60% of the size of the square you start with, so try using different sizes of paper to find what best fits your creative vision.

– You can use regular construction paper or thicker foil paper. Alternatively, you can choose from our free paper patterns below. Simply click to download your paper pattern of choice! We recommend printing this on regular copy paper, with high quality printer settings, for best results.

2. CRAFT SCISSORS AND RULER

Remember to supervise kiddos if you are making this a family project!

– Cut your paper (use scissors) into a square and fold on the dotted lines (score first using ruler so that it tucks in nicely) as per instructions. Follow instructions and assemble into any star shape—the fun is in experimentation!
